Those who work within and among groups will enhance effectiveness by understanding complex issues individuals cope with in
the life of small groups, large groups, and organizations. Designed as a “human laboratory” this intense, high impact workshop allows participants to gain awareness of their own and their groups’covert and overt processes while exploring the dynamics and stages of group life as it evolves. This workshop incorporates a cooperative learning method with focused coaching centered around unstructured group experiences that reflect real life and are therefore directly applicable to the organization’s group life. 

OUTLINE

  • Explore issues of leadership, power and authority as they emerge in group settings
  • Examine the role one plays in groups and the impact on others and group itself
  • Identify the covert agenda one transmits in groups
  • Experience and gain insight from self and group functions in stressful situations
  • Understand stages of group development at
    conscious and unconscious levels
  • Practice authentic communication,  responsibility and accountability in group life
